Summer 2020 will be very special in Latvia! Two ambitious events in music and contemporary art are offered to the discerning audience. The second edition of RIBOCA (Riga International Biennial of Contemporary Art, 16.05-11.10.2020) curated by Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel and the festival of classical music “Riga Jurmala" 11.07-30.08.2020.
The festival caused a sensation across Europe last year and Daily Telegraph named it the destination of summer 2019. The names? Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and Gautier Capucon, Sir András Schiff, Helene Grimaud, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, artistic director - Martin Engström!
